Ayurvedic Spring Reset

Rejuvenate the Body, Mind & Spirit

Spring is a time to cleanse and detox the body of any built up stagnation that accumulates in the blood, organs and fat tissue.

When the temperature rises and the seasons change, our bodies start to shift and this is a vulnerable time when disease can occur.

Cleansing at the change of seasons is incredibly powerful to improve immune system function and feel vibrant as Spring arrives.

The Cleanse will run from Sunday, April 13th until Sunday, April 20th (Easter). You can choose how many days you would like to cleanse. We recommend anywhere between 3-5 days.

We will have 3 support calls during the week via zoom. Sunday, April 13th at 12pm and Tuesday, April 15th at 7:15pm and Friday, April 18th at 12pm.  We will record these in case you can’t make it live. Be sure to bring any questions you have.

There will be a What’s App group to connect with everyone in the cleanse for support. Cleanses can definitely “test your patience” and lots of things will come to the surface (which is actually a good thing) and it’s good to have others to be there to witness you. Growth comes when you’re uncomfortable. We are here to hold space for you.

How to get ready for cleansing:

Step 1: Buy all of your ingredients. There are recipes below along with tea, herbal tincture and all other recommendations that will be helpful for this cleanse. Purchase organic when possible.

We are going to be cleansing with Kitchari, which is a delicious Ayurvedic dish that is used to detox the body. It is nourishing, simple and very easy to digest. This recipe is best made with seasonal, local ingredients and can change slightly depending what time of the year you make it and what your unique metabolic needs are.

This meal can be eaten for breakfast. lunch or dinner and can be modified to meet any of your body’s needs.

Step 2: Prepare your environment for a rejuvenating experience. This is not just a physical cleanse. It’s for mind, body and spirit as well. It’s best to look at your calendar before you commit to cleansing and be sure you don’t have many social engagements. The less temptations and stress on the body the better.

Create a little area in your bedroom or office with all of the items you are going to be using during the cleanse so everything is in the same space. This will include oils, teas, tinctures, dry brush, journal, candle, a yoga mat, sage or anything else you will be needing during the experience.

Step 3: Relax, get a good night’s sleep each night. Try to minimize screen time after the sun goes down. Have a good journal handy to write down any profound experiences.
